A Military school designed to prepare students for obtaining a college education.  Grades 8-12 are accepted and one year of post graduate studies are allowed.  The academies structure has been built around the United States Marine Corps.

Texas A&M Corps of Cadets is designed to develop well educated leaders of character prepared to provide values based leadership and service in the public and private sectors.

Texas A&M University at Galveston develops midshipmen to be morally, mentally and physically trained and possess a basic professional background in naval science.

University of Houstin Air Force ROTC is an educational program designed to provide university students, male and female, with the opportunity to become an Air Force officer while completing an academic degree. The Air Force ROTC program provides cadets the opportunity to develop and strengthen leadership skills, while maintaining a spirit of camaraderie.

St. Mary's University ROTC is a college elective that teaches you the skills needed for a successful career. You'll combine classroom time with hands-on experience, and learn leadership and management skills. And because it's an elective, you can try it out for up to two years. Army ROTC is offered at hundreds of colleges and universities nationwide, training college students to be officers in the active Army, Army reserve and Army National Guard. It’s a 4-year program, divided into two parts – a Basic Course and an Advanced Course.
