The University of Memphis Naval ROTC has  a scholarship offer for all high school students who are interested in receiving a full ride scholarship. That includes books and personal tutors as well.

Army ROTC at Vanderbilt University involves one Military Science course and a weekly leadership lab each semester. Freshmen and sophomores take introductory basic courses, without obligation, to learn about Army ROTC and officer opportunities. Eligible juniors take advanced courses after they enter into a contract with the Army.

The Military Science Department, at Carson Newman College, offers courses to develop leadership and management skills for both military and civilian careers. The Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program provides qualified students opportunities to serve their country full or part time as officers in the US Army. Students enrolled in ROTC who meet specified qualifications can earn a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army, Army National Guard or the US Army Reserve.

The Department of Military Science  at MTSU offers courses which are applicable to all branches of the United States Army and through which a student can earn an academic minor. These courses give students a broad knowledge of Army management, leadership, and technical skills thereby preparing them for Army commissions as well as providing leadership and management skills sought throughout the civilian sector.
