Founded in 1928, Valley Forge Military Academy & College consists of two parts: the institute is an all-male college-preparatory boarding school and a co-educational two-year transfer college located in Wayne, Pennsylvania - just 15 miles west of Philadelphia.  Valley Forge provides their students with a quality educational experience that is centered in high class academics supported by leadership responsibilities, character development, personal motivation, and strong athletic and extracurricular opportunities.

The Raider Battalion is the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) unit hosted at Shippensburg University. Army ROTC prepares students to be the future leader officers in the United States Army, Army Reserves, and the Army National Guard.

Slippery Rock University offers their students the elective Army ROTC program with no obligations to enter into the service if not desired by the student. The program instills order,  self-discipline, honor, and integrity into their students that is a tremendous help to their basic  education. The program also prepares their students well for an Army career, or for any career they may chose.

The University of Scranton, located in Scranton, Pennsylvania offers ROTC programs, that have been named the “Best ROTC Battalion" east of the Mississipi River. The North East Pennsylvania Battalion was recognized as one of the top 15% of all ROTC programs nationally for the 2005-2006 school year, and are one of only a few schools to offer a minor in Leadership. In addition to first-rate leadership training and activities, there are many scholarships, special programs, and exciting career or higher education opportunities awaiting.

Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) or Military Science education, at Bucknell University, is a four-year program designed to prepare college students for Army service as commissioned officers in the active Army, or part-time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard. Scholarship first year students and non-scholarship first and second year students may enroll on a trial basis with no commitment to the military. Students may leave the program or continue with advanced courses to earn a commission as an officer upon graduation.
