Benton ROTC Cadet Kassidee Canfield was selected as the American Legion District 4 “Cadet of the Year” at the American Legion Post 202 in Benton. Cadet Canfield competed against cadets for both Army and Air Force Junior ROTC from Northwest Louisiana. She now moves on to compete at the regional level.

JROTC is unlike any other course offered in high school! It is not a core subject, yet the subjects we teach will enhance your ability to learn as well as to apply what you learn in all of your classes. It is not considered to be an academically difficult course, yet we offer an enriched level class to our juniors and seniors who qualify.
