St. John's Military School is a private boarding military school for male students from grades 6-12. SJMS's mission is to provide each student with the opportunity to grow spiritually, morally, intellectually, and physically in a structured environment. They are dedicated to helping Cadets develop leadership, and academic skills and encourage the boys to uncover their hidden potential.

The US Army Airborne School, located at Ft. Benning, Georgia, is available to cadets that are enrolled in the program. The course is three weeks long, consisting of a ground week, tower week and jump week. With each week comes different types of training designed to teach you how to parachute out of airplanes and helicopters. It is an exciting non-stop course that will push you to the limit. AIRBORNE!!!

PSU has produced 1134 Army officers since its inception. These former cadets have gone on to all branches of the Army, and whether they only serve a few years or go on to become career officers, these alumni continue to make the PSU ROTC proud to have been a part of their lives.

AFJROTC stands for Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. It is a class that teaches military science at Derby High School. Military Science involves wearing the Air Force uniform, drill instruction, the history of air power, team building, and leadership.
