Carver Military Academy began in 1943 but took a big turn in August 2000 as 250 freshmen became military cadets for the 21st century. The first and largest public schools in the nation to convert to a total military model built around the Army JROTC.

Illinois State students enroll in Military Science concurrently with their academic degree. Students may complete the first two years of Military Science with absolutely no military service obligation.

We believe in the development of the mind, body, and spirit of each individual. St. John's Northwestern is founded on time honored values and traditions such as honesty, integrity, duty, honor, and country...  Cadets at our Academy find an environment in which they can build self-discipline, self-esteem, academic focus, and intellectual curiosity.

Marmion Academy, a Catholic-Benedictine college preparatory high school for young men, is a community dedicated to spiritual formation, academc excellecne and leadership development.
