Located in New London, CGA offers higher elite education, professional development, and a traditional academy with a personal approach to education.  Coast Guard cadets dedicate themselves to an honor concept while graduating to work in the air, at sea, on land, and possibly in space. The program is more intense than a non-military college but for the serious cadet it could be an opportunity of a lifetime. 

West Hill High School JROTC is an elective course and a military cadet organization within WHS. The course focuses on building skills and developing self confidence, discipline, and setting life goals. Extracurriculur activities include the exhibition drill team, cadet color guard, and Raider Competition Team. Cadets also hold command and staff positions within the Cadet Battalion.
