Since 1889, St. Catherine’s Military School has been providing high quality Catholic education for boys grades K-8. They offer young boys a challenging academic program, while also incorporating leadership, discipline, and high moral values. They also foster a strong spiritual basis along with their emphasis on academic achievements, and preparation for future college-prep high schools. With their encouraging and structured environment, the students are able to stay focused more easily, while engaging themselves in the learning process.

California Military Institute is a charter school for middle school aged children. The students who attend CMI are gifted and talented, who enjoy a more challenging environments. CMI builds their students up with military values, such as respect, responsibility, leadership and discipline. They help build up their already flourishing character, and prepare them for a bright and promising future. No enrollment fees, parents only pay for uniform.

A military style, college-prep, residential, and day school for young men in grades 7-12. Army and Navy Academy (ANA) has been providing superb academic education since 1910. Teacher to student ratios are low, allowing for a higher class of attention given to each student. The academy also provides their students with plenty of exposure to fine arts, drama, and music, allowing students to utilize their creative side. ANA excels in their Character Development courses and Leadership Education Training, teaching their students honor, integrity, discipline, and leadership qualities.

Since its opening in 2001, Oakland Military Institute (OMI) has been successful in teaching leadership, scholarship, and citizenship among their disciplined students. OMI is a structured public college prep school designed to provide the training necessary to help turn today's youth into tomorrows leaders.
