Arkansas

Located in the Jonesboro Arkansas area located directly on the ASU campus.  In 1936,  ASU ROTC was  established and still is to this day a great contributor to the campus and community.  ASU has had many students who achieved much success through out their carriers.  From state senitors to business members many are still on active duty.  The begining step in the usually four year program is to complete the Leader's Training Course where they learn some of the basics to military eduaction with hands on courses.  The last part of the schools program is taken some time towards the end of the students education with a four week Leadership Development and Assesment Course. 

Carson Long's boarding school has a history of being the oldest institute with military training in the United States while ever Since 1920 CLMI has been a nonprofit corporation and has a 15 member board of trustees.  The president Mattew J Brown takes pride in runing an out standing organization while leading students to develop character and knowledge.  wether the cadets dicide to further their college education or take part in the service academies, CLMI prides it's self on "educatio for life" as well as following the institutes motto, “How to Learn, How to Labor, How to Live”.  

Arkansas National Guard can help students pursue Associate, Bachelor, Master’s, and Professional Degrees. ANG also will help students receive vocational and technical certificates and licenses.
